This car type was one of the originals on the LD back in 1889. The initial series was built by SIG, Neuhausen. Follow-up orders were built in Switzerland (several different builders), Germany and Belgium.

The starting point is the box from a Bachmann car which was on clearance. But even that needed to be shortened, however since it is a one piece injection it is really sturdy.
