Small sheds at "Preda" coming off the printer?

While the mountain howitzer parts are printing I checked which of the many structures will fit the 220x220 volume of my printer.

This one will



Now I'm making a small test piece of the multi layered wall to get "a feel" i.e. enough depth without overdoing it.

PS. Looks like I was very busy doing drawings late in 2009.

Suggestions to help that project along,

1, print the roof separately, see my buildings thread for what I mean.

2 if that's a window aperture, do not leave it blank and rely on support material - its unreliable. Put an infill 1mm smaller all round in the gap with 0.5mm support in a cross to support it. When print is complete, remove this with a craft knife.

The "cunning" plan is to print each wall separately. Since I always overlook something, true to form the top and bottom layers were not defined in CURA.

Assembling the walls should be a no-brainer, but the advantage will be shorter print times and if one is "oh man!" it's better than halfway through the 'Print in one" and going funny.



Second one looks not too bad.

Certainly! Tell me what size and format you would like and I send it to you.

In HO the foundation and the walls could be printed in one..... in a reasonable time.

Thanks - any convenient picture format they happen to be in - JPEG if you have to convert anyway. Size is not an issue unless you are into the Gb.... in which case WeTransfer.com works well enough to 2Gb.

To get the plank detail, I would print it as you are, in kit form but with a Layabrick slab with lips as a foundation to get the angles square, and I like the texture!
