OK I admit there was some effort required to finish all those Italian chocolates to get one more of those handy storage boxes.

The effort refers to the additional klicks of skiing to burn the calories. Finishing them will be "fun", but it's nice to have some "not so common" figures.

HOw did you make these? Did you scan people then shrink to scale? I want to make realistic engineers.

It's amazing how much can be found on the Internet, but it takes time, it takes time to find the better stuff. The Printle guys https://www.thingiverse.com/PRINTLE/designs go to different shows and scan.

those printles are a rather dystopian looking lot....kind of strange poses, and really rough folks lots of them....good for the seedier section of the layout, or the red light district.

There's enough of them to choose carefully. BTW most of them got scanned at different Maker fairs

There's several other sites that have nice selections.

BTW I ordered 50 of those Chinese figures, too. Should be OK for passengers.

The bodies of the row boats were printed some time ago, today it was time to print the seats and oars.

Unlike other times when the wood filament would not properly stick to the print plate, today I had to peel the "stuff" off very carefully.
Anyway one more or less finsihed and floating on the "Seedorfer".

Now to find some rowers or at least figures that could be adapted.

Prehm has some figures for 2019 a man rowing and a woman sitting in the back of the boat, might be just what you're looking for.

Thanks John!

I'll go for that and the guy who's fishing.

I read about it. While keeping the threading of PETG to a minimum with the right settings, there will always be some left.
So I had to try it out (as suggested!): melt the nuisance with the little Bernzomatic torch. Works like a charm.

PETG in lieu of ABS, but perfectly suitable for the outdoors.
PLA not so much, but how it behaves will be determined during the hot summer.

Up today: plows for the Ge 4/4" in PETG.
Grey, better than ABS (a bit more elastic) and sturdy enough for the outdoors (UV and temps) even in the hot Okanagan summer.
Picture to follow.

Great that you're making them. That guy in europe who shall remain nameless, makes nice ones, but it's impossible to order anything from there. Good project as everyone can use these. If you will make some extras, I'd be happy to order some.
