The good, the bad and the ugly of 3D printing

Looking at the bigger picture ....

.... that is the number of finer jobs that need to be printed (aka on the Mars!) I decided to get a quartz radiant heater to heat the work area. Presently the temp in that part of the garage is a cool 15ºC.
Picture to follow once it is installed.

This was my solution for the workshop - https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clarke- ... ric-fan-2/

However - the absence of family visits means we have put the grandchildrens beds into one bedroom and made the other a hobby studio. Cricut Maker and ancillaries at one side and 3d print area at the other. When I add the Anycubic resin job, will have to see what the aroma issue may be.....

I have a similar unit, it did up to now for general purposes.
The new one will be wall mounted, swivels 45º from the vertical, up and down. Supposed to heat objects — person or whatever is in the coverage field. Will be interesting to measure different spots as far as distance from source is concerned.
Cheers

That new unit arrived, the wall mounting bracket is on the flimsy side but otherwise .... it gets that area from an ambient 15ºC to >23ºC at the lower 750 W setting and then it holds it there. Nice and easy in 20 minutes. At least at the present outside temp which is 4º C.
Now all my "excuses" are out the window.
Cheers
